District Chairperson commends health officials for improved services delivery at Budaka HCIV.

The LC5 Chairperson of Budaka District, Mr. Kateu Anthony, has expressed his appreciation to the District Health Officer (DHO) for the continued collaboration and commitment towards improving the health services at Budaka Health Centre IV.During his visit to the facility, chairman Kateu applauded the health team for their dedication to ensuring that residents of Budaka receive quality and accessible healthcare services. He noted that the progress witnessed at the Health Centre is because of teamwork, effective leadership and a shared commitment to serving the community.“I would like to sincerely thank the District Health Officer for working closely with me to strengthen healthcare service delivery as I launch these solar lights in this Health Facility, I want the health team to use them to deliver good results during night hours,” Mr. Kateu said. He added that the improvements evident at Budaka health Centre demonstrate what can be achieved through cooperation and commitment to public service.Mr. Kateu also extended his gratitude to the former chairman, Pajje Emmanuel for the great work he offered to the district and noted that some lights had been placed near his residence as a retirement package and security at his place.He commended the health workers for professionalism, dedication and tireless efforts in attending to patients and maintaining quality standards.Furthermore, the District Chairperson acknowledged the important role played by the Health Unit Management Committee (HUMC) in overseeing the management of the health facilities and ensuring that community concerns are addressed.He encouraged all stakeholders to continue working together to improve health services and promote the well-being of the people of Budaka.Dr. Malwani Erisa appreciated the continued support from the district leadership for their commitment to strengthening healthcare service while serving the people of Budaka.Speaking to the members during the meeting, the Senior Nursing Officer, Sr.Agatha Nakamya welcomed the District Chairperson and appreciated him for his commitment towards supporting the frontline health workers.She pledged their commitment to providing compassionate, professional and quality healthcare services to all patients who seek care at the  facility.“On behalf of the Health Unit Management Committee, I would like to thank chairman Kateu Anthony for visiting our facility and taking keen interest in service delivery. His support and encouragement motivates us to continue working closely with health workers and the community to improve healthcare services, ”Mr.Magoola Jude Said.
