District Stakeholders during a joint monitoring of government projects.

Both the political and technical leadership in a joint monitoring exercise of ongoing government programs in the district.This was intended for completion assessment and funding requirement as recommended by the District Technical Planning Committee.According to the Chief Administrative Officer,Ms.Akiror Jane,she appreciated the team for the team work and commitment exhibited while in the field.She noted that some projects like construction of Mugiti Seed Secondary school,Fencing of Nasanaga HCIII,Construction of Tademeri Administration Block,Water House at Tademeri Subcounty were progressing well and others like Nansanga Seed,Micro-scale irrigation sites at Kapulukuchu still below standard interms of construction works.She urged the contractors of Nasanga Seed,micro-irrigation sites to speed up with their works to avoid funds from being taken back to the treasury.Hon.Mukono Tom,the Vice Chairperson of Budaka district,expressed grateful to the staffs for their collective efforts during the monitoring evidenced by their active involvement.He appreciated the team that compiled the field report within the shortest time as per the findings from the vast sites.He further asked the members to treat the report with the urgency it  deserves inorder to effect payments aware that the Financial year was coming to an end.
