Local Government service management results May 2023.The Office of the Prime minister released the performance assessment results for FY2021/22 where Budaka District was ranked NO.48 out of 154 Local Governments which were assessed.This was a slight improvement from the previous assessment where the district was ranked NO.59.The key sectors assessed included;Education,Health,Water and crosscutting measures.Micro scale irrigation projects was assessed but it was not scored since the district was implementing the projects for the first time.The key issues as highlighted in the report of assessment can be viewed as per the attachments.The assessment report was disseminated to the key stakeholders on 2nd August 2023 in the planning Boardroom at the District Headquarters.
